Kucorgó-Dombi Csillagfürt

And finally, let me introduce the foundation of this kennel, Csillag. She had her first show at her age of 3 months, and it became clear soon that she was born for this. Csillag is an exhibitionist, judges all loved her, because she is not only beautiful, but I always felt I don't really need to be there, she does everything by herself... She even corrected her legs while standing, and attracted everyones attention with her free movement.
Csillag had her last official show at her age of 4 years. She collected multiple Junior Winner, CAC, CACIB, BOB titles, BOG placements, All Breed Junior BIS, BISS, Clubwinner in more countries; won her first BISS at 10 months old. She also became European Junior Champion, International Champion and finished championship in Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. She was BOB under respected sighthound specialists, in competions of 20-30 magyar agars.
Since she missed the show ring after her litter and surgery, we showed Csillag in neutered class in the end of 2009, she won BIS inmediately.
At home, Csillag is a sweet, big girl, who loves both our whippets and huskies, but especially Lara, the icelandic sheepdog:) She will never grow up, but will be my sweet little girl forever.

Hajnali Csicsergő

Baba is simply crazy:) She keeps on jumping and wagging her tail 24-7, and loves everyone and everything. But in the show ring, she is a professional like her mother - it must be herediter:)
She became Hungarian Junior Champion easily, but for other reasons we didn't show her anymore.
She will have her first and only litter in 2012 out of Kalandvadász Ügyes.

Hajnali Mandula

It was heartbreaking to more people (including myself) not to own this wonderful puppy. She is Csillag 2.0, an improved version of my superb girl, and the female-Kávé in the litter:) Owned by Przemysław Jarczyński and family, she achieved great results on shows: Polish Junior Champion, Junior Clubwinner and 4x BOB; will compete on coursing as well, and lives happily with her barzoi friends what makes me feel comfortable to know her in a fantastic home.

Hajnali Vágyakozás

Diadém lives in France, owned by Jacqueline Brevier. She is really talented in coursing - won 5th at the European Championship, CACIL and French Coursing champion titles - and also has some nice show results. A litter is also planned with her in 2013, we wish all the best to the owners!

Hajnali Tünemény

Szeder is the copy of her mother. She matured into a lovely bitch, who is the pride of her owner. Living together with 2 small children and a whippet girl, Szeder is friendly with people and dogs as well.
She is talented in shows and coursing, hope she can prove it in the future. Owned by Klement Gergőné, Barbara.

Hajnali Tejeskávé

And last, but not least, my favourite boy of the litter:) Kávé wasn't even 2 weeks old when he decided the litterbox is not enough for him - at the age of 3 weeks he was already house clean, and just was never afraid of anything at all. There was no doubt that he will move to Finland to the extra-active show & racing & coursing home. At his 5 months of age, Kávé travelled back to Hungary for the European Dog Show. Several thousand kilometers in a bus with strange dogs - whatever! Kávé just did it.
He has an incredible show carrier, was Finnish Cup Winner in Coursing and also made several track record on racing. He is just perfect in whatever he does :) You can read more about him on Janica's website: http://www.pukkilanposse.suntuubi.com
He is such a great dog, and we just cannot be enough thankful to his owner, Janica Tanskanen, for all the work she does with Kávé!! Well done my sweet fawn boy!!

Hajnali Üstökös "Duc"

He was the soulmate of Délceg from the first time. The same calm, smart boy, with a beautiful silver brindle color and dark eyes you can fall into. He also has the best home possible, living in the countryside with his loving owners, Mr and Mrs Lecomte Dosy.

Hajnali Ragyogás "Délceg"

I decided long before the litter was born, that I will name my favourite puppy Ragyogás (means Sparkling). And at the moment he was born, I knew this boy will get the name.
When I had to suggest a male for his owners, I knew this clever boy would be the perfect dog for living in a flat in the centre of Paris. Thanks to his owners, we spent a couple of days in Paris when we took him and his littermates to France, so saying goodbye wasn't that hard for me.
He got used to his new life easily, and grew up into a lovely male. He already got some nice titles and results (including Young Clubwinner in France), and we met him as an adult on the World Dog Show in Paris. What a happy face he got when he saw us again!!
Owners: Marie-France and Michel Conchard

Hajnali Álmodozás

He was sleeping way too much on his first day, so we named him "Dreaming". Later, Álmos became my favourite male, with his sweet head, calm temperament and wonderful proportion. I am happy that he got a show home, and started his show carrier so nicely - Best Junior and Crufts qualification!
Owner: Landsberger Szilvia

Hajnali Ébredés

His name means "Waking up" - since he was the first to born:)
After escaping several times from his first home, he moved to his new owners, where he lives as a beloved pet and never tried to run away again.

The first litter - 26/05/2008

After a long search we finally selected the male for our first litter - the wonderful 'Olajosréti-Győzős Átkos'. We were shocked when he died... just a few days after Csillag started her season.
We had just few days to find a new male. Since originally we found Átkos through his nephew, Szélpatkoló Akács, we talked to his owner if we could use him - fortunately they let us make it happen, so at the early morning of 26th May, Csillag whelped her first and only litter - 5 males and 4 females.
They all found great homes in Hungary and abroad, and make us proud and happy with their great results on shows and coursing.
Let me introduce them one by one in the following posts.

Introduction

We have dogs since 1994; founded our Siberian Husky kennel in 2006, and dedicated our life to this fantastic breed. But we always liked sighthounds, and in 2004 we had the chance to buy a lovely female magyar agar from an excellent combination.
Csillagfürt became a real showstar, I can proudly say she is worldwide known in the breed - but mostly, she is our sweet 'child', an always happy, playful girl, a real friend, my once-in-a-lifetime dog...
In 2008 Csillag gave birth to 9 puppies, they are all successful showdogs and perfect pets for their owners all over Europe. We didn't plan more litter for her, so we neutered Csillag before her next season. We based our future breeding on her daughter we kept in co-ownership.
We are sorry to see the situation of the breed nowadays, so we decided to be less active in showing and breeding.
But we hope that there are still people who are interested in this wonderful breed and would like to have an elegant, stylish sighthound with clear guarding insticts and 15 years in happiness in their home. There might be puppies available for them in the future sometimes.
